Family Blog

Family is where I live. I have my immediate family, I have my extended family, I have my church family, I have my work family, I have my global family. Each family is made up of people, which is the point of this blog category. Creating an interactive space where all members of the family can share perspectives openly on a given topic without interruption, so that their point of view can be expressed fully.

Then, along the way, it begins, an engagement (a comment to a post), an interaction (a comment to a comment), a discussion, a debate, an argument, a possibility, a solution; regardless, the conversation starts here, and if all goes well, compromise or common ground are reached, and growth begins - or so is my hope. It's up to you.

This is My Family

As the world gets smaller, I get older and technology advances I find myself questioning things that I simply took for granted when I was younger. I am a partner in a multi-sport athletic training academy for students that aspire to be the best in the world. They have come year after year for the past 25 years from around the world – literally from everywhere. And it has been such a blessing, because I have been privileged to have met so so many families

What is a family? For me, the idea of family cannot be removed from the idea of a “home. So, let’s start there, what is home? Is it a place or location? Is it tied to an specific address? Is it where the heart is? Can you have more than one?
